Hi, I'm Gizela Thomas, and I'm excited to share my journey with you. Originally from Greater Boston, my upbringing was shaped by frequent travels throughout Southeast Asia & Japan. With a Peruvian artist mother and an Iraqi-American father, I developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, cuisines, and languages. Studying History and Political Science further ignited my passion for understanding societal systems, particularly within food systems and social determinants of health. In high school, my first job on a farm solidified this passion, propelling me into a career focused on driving systemic change.

My website is a reflection of this multifaceted journey, combining my data projects and works, photos from my travels, and various data templates and trackers that I've created using my skills and love for traveling. I'm open to being contracted for different projects and opportunities and eager to collaborate and bring my unique perspective to new endeavors.
